Hey, I’m Alex, founder here at Clued. I usually shy from the first person, but, I owe it to you to speak in it for a bit to provide some context on what Clued is about.
After my first venture backed company, I took a couple of years off to recharge, reflect, have fun, grow, and to figure out what was next.
I’ve been drawn to entrepreneurship my whole life, and I view it as my canvas. However, for years I was painting what others felt I should paint. I would move the brush outside of the lines here and there, but never stray too far.
Well.. That phase of my life is over. With Clued, I’m not interested in building a traditional company by any stretch. I’m looking to create an experience.
An experience that not just helps unique merchants, but brings magic to their lives. An experience akin to a Michelin star restaurant where we’ve orchestrated a multi-sensory moment that puts merchants in a state of awe, and leaves them with a sense of joy in their hearts.
An experience where Clued is not just a bunch of team members, but a tribe of eclectic individuals working as one to push the envelope of what it means to be a software company.
An experience where it’s not us the company & them the customers, but a symbiotic community where we share ownership with the merchants who we’re here to help.
Clued is at the very beginning of its journey, and the road ahead is long. it’s going to be fun, it’s going to be hard... It’s going to take everything we have to make Clued what we know it can be... A cultural movement in the form of a company.
